List Of Where To Buy Cheap Dangote Fuel At 860/per Litre In Lagos, Others

IT is no longer news that Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the ex-depot (gantry) price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly referred to as petrol, by N65.00.

What is news is where consumers can actually buy the product in filling stations across the country.

Stonix News reports that Dangote Petroleum Refinery is in a strategic partnership with MRS Oil and Gas stations, to ensure that consumers have access to fuel at affordable prices.

Recently, a video posted by @valorreviews on TikTok showed a man using two small tiger generating sets, popularly called I-better-pass-my-neighbour-generator in Nigeria, to compare the running time of MRS and NNPC PMS.

The video claimed that Dangote-refined petrol sold by MRS Oil lasts longer than the PMS available at NNPC stations and, in addition, is more affordable.

He then tested both fuels in identical new generating sets, noting that the NNPCL-sourced fuel lasted 17 minutes, while the Dangote fuel ran for 33 minutes.

The video quickly gained attention, with many Nigerians sharing similar experiences regarding fuel quality from different suppliers and others claiming that monopoly was the essence of NNPC’s existence until Dangote broke into the market.

NNPC dismissed the claims emphasising that its Lagos filling stations source petrol from the Dangote Refinery.

With this latest reduction, the refinery’s management confirmed that Dangote petrol will be available at the following prices in partner retail outlets:

1. MRS Holdings stations

N860 per litre in Lagos

N870 per litre in the South-West

N880 per litre in the North

N890 per litre in the South-South and South-East

2. AP (Ardova Petroleum) and Heyden stations:

N865 per litre in Lagos

N875 per litre in the South-West

N885 per litre in the North

N895 per litre in the South-South and South-East

The Dangote Refinery, which began production in 2024, has already played a pivotal role in addressing the challenges in the downstream sector.
