Micheal Jackson Goes To Jail Over Internet Fraud In Lagos

Justice Tijani G.Ringim of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos has sentenced an internet fraud, Michael Jackson, also known as Ella-Ellywood, to three months imprisonment.

The Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) secured the conviction on March 21, 2022.

This is contained in the anti-graft agency website, www.efccnigeria.org.

Jackson was arraigned on a one-count charge bordering on impersonation contrary to and punishable under Section 22(2)(b) Of the Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention, ETC) Act 2015.

Stonix News reports that he pleaded guilty to the offence and was thereafter slammed with the jail term.
