Suspected killer of University of Jos Slay Queen, Miss Jennifer Anthony, a 300 level student, has been apprehended and paraded by the Nigeria Police.
The 20-year-old suspect, identified as Moses Okon, was paraded on Wednesday by the Plateau State Police Command in Jos.
Okon is believed to have killed Jennifer and harvested her private organs for rituals in a somewhat heinous manner.
The deceased was reportedly lured into a hotel by the suspect said to be her boyfriend, who is also a student of the Department of Zoology, University of Jos, where she was brutally murdered.
The suspect was said to have drugged the lady and used various instruments to remove his eyes and other vital parts of her body before he bolted away from the hotel.
Speaking with journalists shortly after parading the suspect, Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Mr Batholomew Onyeka, disclosed that the suspect was picked up in Benue State.
The “suspected killer of Miss Jenifer Anthony whose lifeless body was found mutilated on a new year day at Domus Pacis Guest House, Jos by a man named Moses Oko has been apprehended in Benue State.
“The man aged 20 years, suspected to be her boyfriend, fled after committing the crime.
“The Command in a bid to arrest the perpetrator launched an aggressive manhunt on the suspect and tactically trailed him to Benue State where he was arrested by hawk-eyed police operatives of the Command,” he enthused.
The CP further said that the suspect would be arraigned in court as soon as the investigation was completed.
He urged members of the public, who still have more information on how the incident happened, to oblige the command.
