Police Arrest Woman In Viral Video Selling PVCs For N1000

THE Enugu State Police Command has announced the arrest of a woman in viral video selling Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) for N1000 each to prospective voters at Practising Primary School, Emene.

In the viral video, the suspect, Chinwendu Nnamani, 41, was seen telling the prospective voters to either pay the N1000 charges or go to the local government to pick their PVCs.

She also added that she transported herself to bring the cards to them at their closest location.

According to a statement from the state’s police command on Wednesday night, 8th, the principal suspect and her accomplice, Nkiruka Patience Obinna, 38, who is an employee of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), have been apprehended and arraigned in court.
