Portuguese International, Cristiano Ronaldo, according to an official at his new club, still needs to serve a two-match English Football Association ban before making his debut in Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr.
Stonix News recalled that in November 2022, the five-time Ballon D’or winner was slapped with a ban for hitting a mobile phone out of a teenage fan’s hand after his club, Manchester United, lost away from home to Everton.
“The ban is applicable after he is officially registered,” an official of Al Nassr, who craved anonymity told our source.
Although, Ronaldo hasn’t been registered yet, due to the fact that the club have exceeded their quota of eight foreign players, however, reports from our sources are suggesting that the club’s foreign midfielder, Jaloliddin Masharipov, will most likely leave the club in order for them to officially register the five-time UEFA Champions League winner this weekend.
