By IT’S obviously not yet Uhuru for blasphemous TikToker, popularly known as SeaKing as The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has clarified its stance on the ongoing investigation involving the suspect whose original name is Olumide Ogunsanwo.
Stonix News reports that a widely circulated video had suggested that Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye was calling for Ogunsanwo’s release, describing SeaKing as fulfilling prophecy with his unwarranted defamation.

However, a statement from the church’s Public Relations Unit, issued on 10th February 2025, emphasised that previous videos containing potentially defamatory statements had not been thoroughly examined.

“It has become necessary to allow the law to take its course,” the statement read, highlighting that Pastor Adeboye’s comments during the Holy Ghost Service Night on Saturday had been misinterpreted.
The church stressed that it has no intention of interfering with the police investigation, particularly as the Concerned Christian Youth Forum had filed an official complaint on behalf of senior Christian leaders, including Pastor Adeboye.
“We trust that the relevant authorities will carry out their investigations professionally and reach a just conclusion based on the law,” the statement continued.
While Pastor Adeboye remains committed to love and reconciliation, the church underscored the importance of due process.
The RCCG also warned against cyberbullying and inappropriate commentary regarding Pastor Adeboye, the church, and the wider Christian community.
“We encourage all to engage in constructive and respectful discussions, honouring those who have laboured in the faith,” the statement concluded.
The church reaffirmed its commitment to promoting respectful discourse and discouraging defamatory remarks, urging the public to uphold the value of honouring spiritual leaders.
