The 57-year-old man, David Bennett, who got first pig heart transplant in the United States is dead.
His death is coming two months after the successful surgery in a US medical facility.
Stonix News had reported that the 57-year-old patient with terminal heart disease had undergone a successful transplant of a genetically-modified pig’s heart.
The transplant was the first of its kind breakthrough in medical science.
