THE Tantita Security Service Special Volunteer Force, also known as Tantita Security Ambassadors, has expressed profound appreciation for Tantita Security Limited and its Managing Director, High Chief Kestin Pondi, for creating over 25,000 jobs for Niger Delta youths.
The group also commended the company’s humanitarian initiatives and welfare programmes, particularly during the Yuletide season, which reflect its dedication to social responsibility and grassroots development.
This recognition was made in a communiqué jointly signed by the group’s Coordinator, Comrade (Engr) Efe Feludu Kwakpovwe; Secretary, Barr. Andrew Efole; and Public Relations Officer, Comrade Stanley Umukoro.

The group congratulated High Chief (Engr) Kestin Pondi on his recent Award of Excellence for community development and humanitarian contributions, presented at the Kurutie Annual Amafinide Uge Festival.
They applauded his innovative leadership in security management, which has boosted safety, economic growth, and regional development.
Among the accolades mentioned were Tantita Security’s recognition by Vanguard Newspaper as the best company in crude oil infrastructure security and a meritorious award by the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) for its role in fostering peace and combating oil theft in the Niger Delta.

The group also noted the commendation received by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) for its collaboration with Tantita Security and other agencies, which significantly increased crude oil production to 1.808 million barrels per day by late 2024.
The group highlighted that before Tantita Security’s engagement in 2022, Nigeria’s crude oil production had dropped to 939,000 barrels per day due to widespread vandalism and environmental degradation. Tantita’s involvement has reversed these trends, securing vital national assets and restoring the country’s OPEC ranking.
Comprising over 1,000 volunteers, the Tantita Security Ambassadors include youth leaders, oil and gas experts, medical professionals, and activists.
They partner with Tantita Security Services to run campaigns against oil theft, pipeline vandalism, and youth restiveness, contributing to the stability and development of the Niger Delta.
