The announcement was made on Tuesday during the official launch of the Trust Fund at the Government House, Asaba.
The event was attended by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, top government officials, security chiefs, traditional rulers, and community leaders.
Tompolo’s contribution is regarded as one of the largest private donations ever made to a state-led security initiative in Nigeria.
The gesture, observers say, reflects his continued commitment to peacebuilding, stability, and socio-economic development in the Niger Delta region.

The Delta State Security Trust Fund is designed to provide sustainable financial support for security operations, enhance intelligence gathering, and strengthen collaboration among security agencies to ensure lasting peace across the state.
Governor Oborevwori, in his remarks, commended Tompolo for his generosity and patriotic support, describing the donation as a “milestone contribution to the safety and progress of Delta State.”
Tompolo, through Tantita Security Services, has been instrumental in combating crude oil theft and other maritime crimes in the Niger Delta, working closely with federal and state authorities to safeguard the region’s resources and communities.
