The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has lauded Mr. Oke Umurhohwo and his team for the initiative of ‘Atikowa Movement’ to garner grassroots supports across the country ahead the 2023 presidential election.
Atiku gave the commendation when members of the ‘Atikowa Movement,’ led by its Coordinator, Mr. Oke Umurhohwo paid him a courtesy in Abuja with a view to mobilizing grassroots voters for the party.
He lauded the ‘Atikowa Movement’ initiative, reaffirming his quest to lead Nigeria to the promised land in 2023.
The presidential candidate further noted that he was pleased to see young Nigerians taking a bold step to change the narratives, and for seeing him as the best choice that can lead the country to greatness.
Earlier, the Atikowa Movement’s leader, Mr. Umurhohwo, after the formal unveiling of the Atiku/Okowa Movement, assured Alhaji Atiku of mobilizing grassroot voters.
The group called on Nigerians to use their PVCs to stop the APC directionless leadership, saying that the Atiku/Okowa partnership will offer great hope and fortunes for Nigerians.
“Atiku’s policy document was a profound statement that he is prepared to fix Nigeria, considering his choice of running-mate, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and this is why Atikowa Movement is taking steps to actualize the noble goal, and next few days, will commence an ambitious move to rally voters at the grassroots.
“Our goal is for Nigeria to have a president that can solve problems, treat all Nigerians equally, not someone motivated by ethnicity or religious belief in decision making.
“A president that will listen to Nigerians and not just to satisfy personal ambition and greed,” he averred.
