Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, is at the Presidential Villa in Abuja for a meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tinubu, whose vehicle breeezed into the villa at 2:30p.m, inspected a parade by the Guards of Honour,
He was later received by Vice-President Kashim Shettima; Emefiele; Mele Kyari, Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL); speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; and Permanent Secretary, State House, Tijjani Umar.
Stonix News reports that Wale Edun, former Lagos Finance Commissioner; and James Faleke, a House of Reps member, were also at the villa.
As of the time of filing the report, it wasn’t clear what issue the meeting is designed to tackle.
