By THE Commissioner of Police, Akwa Ibom State, Waheed Ayilara, has passed.
It was gathered that Ayilara passed early on Thursday at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja.
He was said to have undergone prostate cancer surgery on Wednesday before he passed hours later.
”We are very sad to inform you that our friend, brother and family, the Commissioner of Police for Akwa Ibom State, Waheed Ayilara, is dead,” a family member told The Nation.
