Abducted Jonathan’s Cousin Cries For Help From The ‘Grave’

Ola ‘Kiya, Reporting

Kidnapped cousin of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s, Mike Ogiasa, has cried for help from a grave in the kidnapper’s den in a viral video.

Stonix News reports that Ogiasa, an engineer, was abducted by gunmen in Bayelsa State on June 4, 2022 in his hometown of Otuabadi in Ogbia Local Government Area.

The victim was a Special Adviser on Power Development during the administration of former Governor Seriake Dickson, and also the convener of a socio-political group, Voice of the South-South (VSS).

In the 27 seconds video, which SaharaReporters obtained, Ogiasa is seen half-naked in a flooded shallow grave.

His hands were tied, as he emotionally cries out for an urgent help.

“You’re seeing me in the grave. Please, do everything possible to come and release me.

“Any money that is available…any money you can make. Do everything possible.

“Please, any money that is available. Is the money more important than my life?

“Please, do everything that is possible,” he cried.

Recall that Ogiasa was reportedly abducted by gunmen numbering eight after attending a meeting on June 2.

The abduction was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Bayelsa State Command, Asinim Butswat, who said efforts were on to rescue the victim.
