COTE D’IVOIRE will receive $7 million for winning the AFCON trophy. Nigeria will receive $4 million for finishing second.
South Africa and DR Congo will receive $2 million each for reaching the Semi Finals of AFCON 2023.
The financial rewards extend beyond the top four, with the quarter-finalists each receiving $1.3 million. The eight teams that exited in the round of 16 are set to earn $800,000 each, making every match crucial.
Additionally, according to Zimsports Connect, two teams that finish third in their groups but do not advance will each receive $700,000.
The teams that find themselves at the bottom of their groups are still rewarded, with $500,000 each, highlighting CAF’s commitment to supporting football development across all participating nations.
