ALLEGEDLY under the heavy influence of drug, an only male child has reportedly macheted to death his father and mother in Nnewi, Anambra State.
The 21-year-old suspect, simply identified as Chukwudi, is said to be an undergraduate of a university in the state.
He’s said to be the only son of Mr and Mrs Micheal Ulor, from Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The decomposing corpses with several machete cuts were discovered three days after the crime in their apartment at Mr. Moses Nnodu’s Compound, Abubor Nnewichi-Nnewi, close to Orie Agbo Market on Thursday evening, September 22, 2022.
Stonix News gathered that the suspect allegedly killed his parents after a heated argument over their refusal to give him some money he had requested.
After allegedly committing the heinous crime, Chukwudi reportedly bolted into the woods to escape arrest.
Operatives of the Anambra State Police Command are said to have launched a manhunt for the culprit.
