BREAKING: Abducted DELSU student freed after payment of ransom

Four days after, abducted student of the Delta State University (DELSU), Chris Oghojafor, has been released after the abductors had allegedly collected a ransom of N3 million.

The Industrial Chemistry student was said to have been kidnapped on the night of Friday, April 22.

The kidnappers had earlier demanded N50 million from parents of the victim for his released but was haggled to N3 million.

“My son, Chris Oghojafor, who was kidnapped in Abraka by Fulani herdsmen, since on Friday evening, has just been released now. Glory be to God – J. Oghojafor Esq,” a terse message from the father of the victim confirming his freedom, stated.

Stonix News gathered that the boy, after payment of N3m, was released near Ugolo-Orogun by the railway in Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe, said earlier that the kidnap report hasn’t gotten to the command.
