AMID the cry against moral perversion in society, operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, Delta Police Command, have rescued five trafficked, underage girls allegedly being used as sex slaves in a brothel in Delta State.
The police operatives also arrested 10 suspected female prostitutes and their 10 male counterparts during the sting operation in the brothel.
The underage girls and 20 female and male prostitutes were rounded up on Good Friday, April 15 at about 11:30 at Fagoma Hotel, located at Aragba in Otokutu in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Stonix News reports that a Delta-based human rights activist, Israel Joe had, shortly after the operation, posted a video footage of the police raid of the brothel said to be allegedly owned and managed by Mr Edwin Etareri and his wife, Mrs Grace Etariri.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe, during the parade of the suspects on Wednesday in Asaba, said the underage girls were allegedly trafficked from Rivers State by one Joy who’s now on the run.
According to him, Mr Edwin Etareri and his wife, Mrs Grace Etariri, are also now in police custody.
Edafe quipped: “Investigations revealed that one Joy ‘f’ surname unknown now at large, trafficked the underage girls from Rivers State and took them to Patani where they were forced into taking an oath before they were brought to Otu-Jeremi and harbored by one Edwin Etareri, the owner of the said brothel and his wife, one Mrs Grace Etariri currently in custody.”
DSP Edafe further disclosed that the suspects were picked up from the brothel following a tip-off by a concerned resident of the state, adding that further investigations were ongoing.
