THE African football governing body, Confederation of African Football (CAF) has, on Wednesday, 5th of October, 2022, banned three African coaches for certificate forgery.
Stonix News gathered that few years back, the African governing body set a qualification standard that any coach, whose team makes it to the Confederation Cup and Champions League must possess at least an A-licence or equivalent.
After due investigation, it was disclosed that the trio of Youssef Rossi (Morocco), Rafik Mohammed (Tunisia) and Ahmed Adel (Egypt), whose teams participated in the last international tournaments, presented a forged and upgraded certificate to the governing body.
Reacting to this, CAF has handed the trio a five-year ban.
