THREE Nigerian internationals were crowned king and queens at the just concluded CAF awards night.
Super Eagles’ Victor Osimhen, following his fantastic 2022-2023 season with the Serie A title defending champions, Napoli, was awarded the CAF Men’s Player of the Year.

He is the first Nigerian to win the award since Kanu Nwankwo in 1999.

For the women’s categories, Asisat Oshoala, for the second consecutive year, was awarded the CAF Women’s Player of the Year.

Asisat Oshoala, right from the start of the 2023-2024 season with Barcelona female team, has been making headlines with her goal scoring abilities for the Spanish female team.
Also, in the female goalkeeper category, Super Falcons’ goalie, Chiamaka Nnadozie, won the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year.

In addition,, the Super Falcons’ were awarded the CAF Women’s National Team of the Year.
