THE Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE), Effurun, Delta State, has launched its supplementary Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session, offering prospective students the opportunity to gain admission into a range of newly introduced degree programmes.
In a statement dated 1st September 2025 and signed by the Registrar, Dr (Mrs) E. Jane Omoyine, the university explained that the exercise is part of its broader academic expansion strategy aimed at meeting manpower needs and providing industry-driven education.
The fresh courses cut across three colleges. The College of Science now offers B.Sc. degrees in Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Petroleum Chemistry. The College of Petroleum Administration and Management (CPAM) has added Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management, Petroleum Information Management, and Entrepreneurship. Meanwhile, the College of Maritime and Offshore Studies has rolled out B.Sc. programmes in Maritime Transport and Logistics, and Maritime Economics and Finance.
Applicants must have scored at least 170 in the 2025 UTME, missed the initial FUPRE Post-UTME screening, and not secured admission elsewhere. They must also meet UTME and O’Level requirements relevant to their chosen courses.
The application deadline is Sunday, 14th September 2025, with screening scheduled for 15th and 16th September at the university’s Ultra-Modern ICT Centre, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. The screening fee is ₦2,000.
Candidates can apply online via https://utme.fupre.edu.ng, complete the registration form, upload a passport photograph and credentials, and print out the confirmation slip.
