Ahead of the 2023 general elections, a cleric, Revd Dr Mereh Wariri, has disclosed that God wants to use a woman as president to lift the nation from its socio-economic woes and insecurity that have bedeviled the country.
Stonix News reports that Revd Wariri is the General Overseer of The Christ’s Redeemed Evangelical Mission (CREM), in Ughelli, Delta State.
He made the disclosure while fielding questions from journalists on the coming 2023 general elections as well as the economic situation of the nation.
He said God revealed to him that He was interested in using a woman to save the nation from the challenges, but the women have not shown interest in the elections and in the office of the president.
He said he was praying for the 2023 elections to know the mind of God concerning who would emerge president asking the many presidential aspirants.
Rev. Wariri, however, quipped that he was perplexed when instead of being shown a man, God rather gave him a message to the female folk in Nigeria.
He said God told him that he wants to use one of the women as the next president and that they should present themselves to contest for the office of the president.
The General Overseer, therefore, urged women in Nigeria to rise up to contest for the office of the president of the nation and not drawback.
He added that though he was neither a prophet nor a politician, he was only sent by God to deliver the message to Nigerian women.
He charged them to do away with their apolitical stance and apathy towards politics and elections, insisting that God was interested in a female president for the country.
