Ola ‘Kiya, Reporting
National Youths Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Daniel Olawande has narrated how he escaped death by the whiskers while on his way in Lagos to catch up a flight to Bauchi.

Injury sustained after the accident
Stonix News reports that General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has been in Bauchi State for the Light Up Bauchi crusade that started early in 2022 on account of his 80th birthday.
Narrating the near-death incident on his social media, Pastor Olawande said God’s covenant of mercy saved him last Tuesday from untimely death via the commercial motorcycle he boarded to bear traffic jam.
“I didn’t want to talk about it but since I already saw it online I will just do that.

Pastor Olawande being revived after rescue from being crushed by a trailer
“The covenant of mercy over my life is real, on tuesday I was going to Bauchi to join my father in the Lord @pastoreaadeboyeofficial for Light Up crusade.
“I left camp around 4:30a.m for a 9:30a.m flight but as of 7:30a.m at long bridge not even close to Opic yet, and because there is only one flight going to Bauchi for two days, so I thought it’s best to take a bike so I won’t miss the flight.
“Hmmm! I jumped on a bike and left my car with my PA, Driver and Wife, and as I began the journey, I sensed evil so I began to pray ‘Lord Protect me and help today,’ but on Otedola bridge, there was a head-on-collision and the next thing I saw was I summersaulted and was on the floor.
“I was told a trailer was coming which could have run over me, but God moved it away.
“God of mercy came to my rescue, someone who knew me shouted Pastor Daniel and came to carry me off the express. I was just shouting my flight, my flight!!!
“However in pains, he helped me up, asking if I would go back home but my mind was already in Bauchi.
“I ordered for Bolt and he took me to the airport, God made a way and I was the last person to be checked in.
“Even though in pains, I couldn’t lift my left hand, limping on my right leg (my trousers tore after I landed on the ground not crazy jeans oo), couldn’t talk well due to the bruises in my mouth, I made it to Bauchi, and I ministered with grace in pains, but Jesus was glorified.
“I am alive; I am fine! The devil has failed! It could have been, ‘He died a soldier, but God changed the story,'” he narrated.
Meanwhile, the youthful pastor has frowned upon the use of motorcycles in the expressway.
“But please I think Bike is a bad idea on the expressway,” he warned.
