‘I’m Fully Committed To The Security Of All Nigerians’ – Tinubu

 


PRESIDENT Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed that he is fully committed to the security of all Nigerians assuring citizens that decisive measures are being taken to address unrest and stabilise affected areas across the country.

In a statement posted on his verified Facebook account on Sunday, Tinubu disclosed that he was in an extended security meeting with the Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), and other intelligence heads.

He said the gathering was convened to review the latest security reports and approve urgent actions to protect lives and property.

“We are reviewing the latest reports and taking decisive actions to stabilise the affected areas and protect our citizens,” the President said, adding that he was receiving continuous briefings on ongoing operations.

He noted that he had directed security agencies to respond with speed, precision, and absolute resolve.

Tinubu stressed that his government would not tolerate any threat to national peace, insisting that offenders would face the full force of the law.

“Those who threaten the peace and security of our nation will face the full weight of the law,” he stated.

The President further assured the public that the administration is working closely with all security formations to ensure swift interventions in troubled regions.

He emphasised that safeguarding Nigerian lives remains a central priority of his leadership.

Asserting confidence in the country’s resilience, Tinubu declared: “Nigeria will prevail.”

He signed off the statement as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, underscoring his commitment to leading the nation through its security challenges.
