Newlywed Mercy Chinwo and her hubby have been advised to keep their young relationship off the prying eyes of social media hawks and hyenas who destroy good marriages
The warning came from a lawmaker representing Afikpo North-East in Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Maria Ude Nwachi, shortly after the gospel minstrel posted a photo of a car gift from her husband on the occasion of her birthday.
She chided the newlywed, urging them to keep off showing off on the Social Media for the good of their marriage.
Maria Ude issued the public warning to Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed, to take their marriage from Social media.
Stonix News reports that the gospel artist had flaunted her brand new SUV car gift that was given by her husband for her birthday earlier this week.
Chinwo was given the SUV by Pastor Blessed as a birthday surprise, and she proudly displayed the present on her social media handles and urged her followers to thank him on her behalf.
The act, which didn’t go down well with the lawmaker, had her advising the couple not to invite scrutiny on themselves on Facebook.
“Mercy Chinwo & hubby, avoid unnecessary show on social media. Don’t invite scrutiny on yourselves, Biko!
“This type of show by a woman of the Bible will bring nothing good for her.
“One investigation into their doings might bust a lot and those hailing them won’t be able to help them out of it.
“The investigation can come from the source and to find something no dey hard.
“To make displays that beg to be scrutinized is very very unwise because your subliminal request will surely be answered if you keep it up.
“Nollywood actresses do these packages and it’s okay, but not her type.
“I did not post that package because I felt sorry for her as she knows not what she is doing!
“Allow trouble to sleep in peace, no wake am. Thank you,” Maria Ude advised on Facebook.
