SENATOR representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has taken a subtle swipe at some of her colleagues in the National Assembly who are reportedly concerned about travelling home for the Yuletide following the withdrawal of their security details.
In a post shared on her verified Facebook page, the senator appeared to respond to growing concerns over a recent security policy affecting lawmakers.
Reacting to a comment suggesting that some senators may be unable to return home for the holidays, she recalled her own experience when her security details were withdrawn during what she described as her “illegal suspension.”
“When you withdrew my security amidst the illegal suspension nko?” she wrote.
Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan stressed that she remains unbothered, declaring that her true security comes from divine protection and the love of her constituents.

“Allah Almighty, through my beloved people of Kogi Central, are my security,” she stated, adding confidently, “Beat that love.”
The lawmaker, known for her outspokenness and strong grassroots connection, ended the post with a reaffirmation of her loyalty to her constituency and the nation, signing off as “Adorably Kogi Central for Nigeria.”
Her remarks have since sparked reactions on social media, with supporters praising her confidence and connection with her constituents, while critics view the post as a pointed taunt at colleagues unsettled by the evolving security situation.
