By The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has appointed JOSE PESEIRO as new Super Eagles coach.
The 61-year-old Portuguese will take over from interim coach Austin Eguaveon after AFCON tournament.
He is expected to only play the role of an observer during the AFCON.
Peseiro has previously managed Porto, Sporting Lisbon, Ah Ahly and Venezuela.
He was also an assistant coach at Chelsea Football Club at a time..
No official statement from neither NFF nor the Super Eagles has been made.
Recall that Stonix News had reported recently that NFF president, Amaju Pinnick had consulted with ace coach, Jose Mourinho, as regards scouting for a coach for the Super Eagles after the ousting of Franco German Gernot Rohr.
