Oyo Deputy Gov: Olaniyan Out, Bayo Lawal In

Oyo State House of Assembly has removed the embattled deputy Speaker, Rauf Olaniyan.

The decision was sequel to the report of the seven-man panel set by the Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice Munta Abimbola.

In the report, the committee said the deputy Governor was found guilty of all allegations levelled against him and was thereby removed.

In another development, the chairman Oyo State Housing Corporation, Bayo Lawal, has been confirmed by the Assembly as the substantive Deputy Governor.
