Police Arrest Female Security Personnel, Two Others In Ebonyi

OPERATIVES of the Ebonyi State Police Command have arrested a female Ebube Agu security personnel and two other suspected armed robbers for car-snatching.

As stated in a press released signed by the police spokesperson SP Chris Anyanwu and made available to Stonix News, the suspects were specialized in ripping off motorcycles and cars within Enugu and other neighboring states.

The statement affirmed that the security personnel (name is unknown) and her gang were arrested at Uburu in Ohaozara Local Government Area of the state while trying to sell off a snatched motorcycle.

The EbubeAgu personal confessed to belonging to a gang with their hideout in Isu-Onicha Local Government Area where they have five snatched mini buses and seven motorcycles on interrogation.

In a similar development, the command also nabbed one Mr Chibundu Ali a suspected member of the proscribed indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) and Eastern security network (ESN).

Mr. Chibundu was arrested when the Command’s tactical team stormed a camp suspected to be a criminal hideout in Ezzama Uzu community in Ezza South LGA of the state.

The statement confirmed that One cut-to-size AK-47 rifle, with live ammunition were recovered from the camp.
