Police Ban Protests In Kano

THE Kano State Police Command has banned, with immediate effect, all forms of protests across the 44 local government areas of the state.

According to The Punch, this followed intelligence received by the Command that the two dominant parties; the New Nigeria People’s Party (NPPN), and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have assembled a rented crowd to embark on protest, without the endorsement of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).
