The Redeemed Christian Church of God((RCCG) has confirmed three successful marriages and 38 ongoing courtships through its relationship platform.
This was announced on Saturday afternoon at the ongoing Ministers’ Conference of the mission ahead of the 2022 Annual Convention at the Redemption Camp, Lagos-Ibadan expressway, Ogun State.
Announcing the success story, Pastor-in-Charge of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (City of David), said the platform was created in November 24, 2021, for mature Christian singles.
He said, with the tacit approval and continued guidance and direction of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye and other senior pastors and their wives, the platform already has at least about 8,000 registered participants since its inception.A
According to Pastor Iluyomade, the platform,https://redeemersconnect.org/, was created for the sole purpose of global interaction among christian singles, widows and widowers.
“I want to talk about something that touches the heart of everyone.
“We have an online relationship platform; it’s an online relationship platform.
“One of the things that came out from COVID 19, is that everybody went online.
“Why don’t we have a platform where men and women, Christians across other churches can meet and interact online.
“So in November last year, we set up a global online relationship platform.
“Between November and June, 8,000 persons were registered on the platform and we are also connecting with people in America and Canada.
“We started around November 24 last year and there have been 38 courtships and three marriages so far.
“And between now and the end of this year, we have four more marriages coming up.
“So, if you have been dreaming of having somebody in Canada and any other country, this is your opportunity.
“We are giving you the opportunity to marry now on this global platform; it is a platform for people from age 20 to 65.
“I want to encourage everyone of us to join this bus. This is an opportunity for singles, widows, widowers to connect online.
“We believe this is something that is very important,” the pastor in charge of Lagos Province 4 and head of the Apapa Family, noted.
