THE Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has revealed that it has spent over ₦110 billion on healthcare infrastructure and numerous social development programs throughout Nigeria in the last eight years.
This announcement was made on Thursday during the inauguration of the Enoch and Folu Adeboye Dialysis Centre, located within the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex at the Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa, Osun State.

Pastor Kayode Pitan, who serves as the National Coordinator for RCCG’s Christian Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, addressed the gathering, noting that the Church’s programs have positively touched the lives of more than 207 million Nigerians. His remarks were delivered by his deputy, Dr. Bayo Olugbemi.
He highlighted that the newly commissioned Ilesa facility is the 13th dialysis centre the Church has established in Nigeria. The centre comes fully equipped with three dialysis machines, patient beds, a reverse osmosis water system, a 30KVA generator, and air conditioners.

Other locations that have received similar support include the Federal Capital Territory, as well as states like Bauchi, Ogun (including Redemption Camp and Sagamu), Ondo, Oyo, Borno, Enugu, Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Ekiti, Anambra, and Osun.
RCCG has also provided Intensive Care Units (ICUs) to healthcare facilities in Lagos, Plateau, Ondo, and Ogun states.
Speaking on behalf of the RCCG General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Assistant General Overseer, Pastor Funsho Odesola, criticized the trend of Nigerian leaders seeking medical care abroad.
“It is unfortunate that those who make healthcare policies cannot receive treatment in their own country,” he said.

“Pastor E.A. Adeboye is showing an example of what the government should be doing. This is a model of service to the people. Government officials and policymakers should emulate this gesture and invest in the improvement of our healthcare system.”
Dr. John Okeniyi, the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, underscored the crucial role of public-private partnerships in resolving the nation’s health sector deficiencies. He applauded RCCG for the donation, describing it as a reflection of global standards in charitable giving.
“Across the world, individuals and families give back to support medical institutions. I trained in Israel, and the facility where I trained is bigger than this entire hospital, thanks to the contribution of just one family. This initiative by RCCG is a gift to humanity, and it transcends tribe or religion,” he said.

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, represented by Health Commissioner Mr. Jola Akintola, lauded the RCCG and Pastor Adeboye for their dedication to public welfare.
“We applaud Pastor E.A. Adeboye and the entire RCCG family for their vision, compassion, and continuous investment in the well-being of Nigerians,” the governor said.
