Ace journalist and Special Adviser on Political Matters to the President, Babafemi Ojudu, has said he will go back to farming, if President Muhammadu Buhari chooses former governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, as his presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023.
Ojudu said this during an interview with Chude Jideonwo on Saturday.
He said he would never fall in line if President Buhari chooses Tinubu as his candidate.
Ojudu claimed he can never support or work with someone he does not believe in.
”Never! I’ll never support it. Write it down, I’ll go back to the farm. If I don’t believe in you, I’ll not work with you or for you,’’ the Ekiti State-born aide vowed.
Meanwhile, Ojudu had earlier clarified that he would not support Tinubu’s presidential ambition due to his “principled political choice, not betrayal.”
Though Vice President Osinbajo hasn’t openly declared his intention to run ahead of 2023, the Ekiti State-born former Senator, has openly canvassed support for the former’s rumoured presidential ambition.
