Support Groups, Individuals Raise Funds For Osinbajo’s Nomination Form

Ola ‘Kiya, Reporting

Groups of supporters and some individuals have contributed money to support the purchase of nomination forms for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo

This was disclosed on Thursday by his senior media aide, Laolu Akande on his Twitter handle.

Stonix News reports that VP Osinbajo is currently in Cross River and Bayelsa states in continuation of his interactions with stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the states.

Laolu Akande said the forms were being purchased even as the APC presidential aspirant is on his tour.

According to Akande, “a passionate team of support groups & individual Nigerians from across the country have raised funds to support the purchase of APC nomination forms for the Vice President’s 2023 presidential bid.

“Today, the forms are being collected by representatives of the team just as the VP continues his interactions with APC stakeholders across the States.

“Today, he is in Cross River and Bayelsa States. It’s all about the VP’s desire to serve the people of Nigeria with all his heart, his experience, insight & knowledge.”

Meanwhile, during his visit to Taraba State in the week, VP Osinbajo had enjoined the APC delegates to be optimistic that the country would take a new shape of greatness in due course.

“I am very optimistic that all will be well with our country. We have everything necessary to be great, and that journey has already started despite the challenges.

“If given the opportunity to be President, I will serve with all my heart to keep us succeeding and surging forward on this journey towards greatness.

“I thank stakeholders of our great party, together with His Excellencies, Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba, and Governor Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa, for their support,” he enthused.
