Captors of passengers of the Kaduna-bound train have released the picture of the newly-born baby girl delivered in their den by one of the two pregnant women.
It will be recalled that her mother was eight months old pregnant when she was abducted by the terrorists along Abuja /Kaduna train route on the 28th March, 2022.
The news of the baby’s birth trended two days ago on both Social Media and the Conventional Media where a family member of the woman hinted that the mother had delivered during the weekend.
The identity of the newly-born child was not disclosed until yesterday (Wednesday) when her picture was released.
The picture of the new girl, as it was gathered, was released on Wednesday evening by the terrorists group suspected to be Ansaru – a breakaway group of Boko Haram.
The baby was seen looking healthy in a thick pink dress and a light lemon sweater cap, with her eyes closed and she seems well taken care of in the picture.
Out of the 63 abducted train passengers that were under captivity, it will be recalled, that only one passenger, the MD of the Bank of Agriculture (BOA) Alwan Hassan, regained his freedom after paying a ransom of N100m.
