BARELY 48 hours to Saturdays governorship election in Bayelsa State, the underprivileged are smiling home with foodstuffs and souvenirs.

The foodstuffs and souvenirs were courtesy of members of the Grassroots Movement for the Re – Election of Douye/Ewhrudjakpo in Yenagoa.
The items were specifically targetted at the underprivileged and the masses who have expressed their support for the re-election of Governor Diri and his running mate, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, come Saturday.
Stonix News reports that Governor Diri and his running mate rounded off their campaign ahead of Saturday during the week.

The retreat, which was organized centrally in Yenagoa, attracted all relevant stakeholders and the who-is-who in Bayelsa State politics.
The movement, which tentacles spread across the length and breadth of the state, assured Governor Diri and his deputy of total victory at the Saturday November 11 poll.
Shortly after the Yenagoa retreat, the movement proceeded to the various wards and units in the creeks across the three senatorial districts where they equally distributed souvenirs and other items to the underprivileged.
Speaking during the political gathering, on behalf of the movement, Bayelsa Central Coordinator, Hon. Abel Ebifemowei, Bayelsa West Coordinator, Hon. Alex Jenakumo and the Deputy Coordinator, Hon.. Charity Kens Godwin, inseparable remarks, laude Diri for his good governance.

They claimed the governor has done well in his first term by bringing prosperity to the people, which, they affirmed, is the major reason the masses are clamoring for his re -election.
On their part, Deputy Co-ordinator, Bayelsa East.Hon George Turner, and Deputy Coordinator, Bayelsa Central, Chief Natus Zebakame, also underscored the sterling performance of Diri, saying that was the reason they deployed their resources in support of the re-election bid of the governor and his deputy.
