This followed reports of false recruitment information in several unauthorised media and online channels purportedly by CNL and Chevron Corporation, advertising job positions in CNL and offering job slots for sale.
Chevron’s General Manager, Policy, Government & Public Affairs, O. S. Oduselu made the clarifications in a statement made available to Stonix News on Tuesday.
He said Chevron, as a matter of strict policy, did not authorize such false publications or require applicants to make any payment for processing any job application.
According to him, such fraudulent requests and applications are handiwork of frauds using fake, unauthorised channels to defraud innocent job seekers.
