Veteran Nollywood actor, poet and playwright, Lari Williams has passed at 81.
He died on Sunday February 27, at his home in Ikom, Cross River State.
The actor became famous for his roles in hit soap operas such as Village Headmaster, Ripples, and Mirror in The Sun.
The poet, playwright and celebrated actor was also a recipient of the prestigious national honour, Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MON) in 2008.
He was the first president of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria and had a career that spanned over five decades.
