IN spite of the biting hardship and depletion of moral values, a Nigerian soldier, one Ebraheem Maiyaki, has reportedly returned, to its owner, a missing $10, 000 at popular Hausa Quarters in Warri, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Hausa Quarters is a residential and commercial enclave of a high number of indigenes of states from Northern Nigeria.

In a Facebook post by Warri Aproko II sighted by Stonix News on Tuesday, some staff of a private security firm were said to have approached one of the Bureau de Change in the area to exchange the dollars for naira.
On getting to the office of the Bureau de change, the security firm’s staff discovered that the bundle of $10,000 was missing.

A frantic search for the missing money in the market began until the owners sighted the Nigerian soldier who asked them what they were searching for.
After listening to their story, he brought out the money and handed it over to them.
According to Ebraheem Maiyaki, he stumbled upon the bundle of money on the ground in the bustling market and decided to pick it up and wait for the owners.
Stonix News reports that as of Tuesday August 13, $10,000 was worth about N16 million in the Nigerian black market.
As of the time of filing the report, details of how the soldier would be compensated is still unknown.
