LAWYER Wendy Okosa has raised concerns about the increasing rate of divorce cases after observing a disturbing trend in a courtroom.
Out of 24 cases listed, 22 were divorce petitions scheduled for hearing in one courtroom on the same day.
This alarming number highlights a growing issue with marital stability in modern times.
Barr. Okosa shared her concerns on social media, noting that lawyers often advise clients to reconcile, but ultimately must represent their clients’ interests.

She questioned whether there’s a solution to this trend and how to promote healthy marriages.
Barr. Okosa ironically suggested that lawyers might make good spouses, given their exposure to divorce cases and the lessons they learn from them.
