BREAKING: Gunmen Bomb INEC Office In Imo

GUNMEN have bombed the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) along Owerri-Port Harcourt road in Imo State.

The bombardment took place in the early hours of Monday.

Reports say the gunmen threw grenades through the building’s fence, destroying several offices and vehicles parked in the premises.

Stonix News gathered that the police stationed at the INEC office, however, engaged the gunmen in a heavy shootout.

The gun duel left three of the gunmen allegedly wearing charms and Biafra camouflages dead.

INEC public relations officer, Dr. Chinenye Chijioke-Osuji has confirmed the attack.
