The physically-challenged in Warri, Delta State, have vowed to vote for Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege, as governor of Delta State under the All Progressives Congress (APC) come 2023.

Speaking on behalf of the special persons at Okumagba Ward 12, Warri, Warri South Local Government Area on Friday, Prince Oghenerukevwe Ufuoma, expressed desire for the APC governor to clinch power from the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to make life meaningful for them.
According to the 28-year-old cobbler, given Omo-Agege’s track record as senator representing Delta Central at the senate in the last eight years, there’s assurance that he’d protect the interest of the underprivileged if voted as governor.
“I love APC right from time and I’m here because my ward Secretary asked me to.
“I want APC to rule so that everything will be better. If APC’s Ovie Omo-Agege is elected the governor of Delta State, the state will be better than this.
“We know and have seen the things he did as Deputy Senate President and we believe that when he becomes governor, he will do more,” Chairman of Physically Challenged in Ward 12, noted.
Meanwhile, Delta APC governorhip candidate, Omo-Agege and the state chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, appealed to the gathering at Olodi Primary School, Okumagba, Warri, urged Deltans discontinue the reign of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state to usher in development.
The appeal came at the ward-to-ward campaigns held at Olodi Primary School, Okumagba Avenue, Warri, which comprises Edjeba Ward 10, Okumagba I Ward 11 and Okumagba II Ward 12 and at Ugbuwangue Junction comprising Obodo/Omadino Ward 01, Ode-Itsekiri Ward 02, Ogunu Ward 03, Ugbuwangue Ward 04, GRA/Okere Ward 05 and Okere Ward 08 as well as at Igbudu Primary School, Near 3rd Marine Gate, Warri, consisting of Bowen Ward 06, Pessu Ward 07 and Igbudu Ward 09.
Speaking to the the APC faithful at the rally venues, Omo-Agege decried the underdevelopment and the magnitude of squalor in the oil-rich city.
“This is the Warri I grew up. Where’s the prosperity Okowa promised you?
“Warri has become the Keke and poverty headquarters of Nigeria. This must stop.
“You must not allow Okowa to bring in his agbero boy as governor to punish us further,” Omo-Agege charged.

He promised to effect urban renewal in Warri, give scholarship and bursary to university students as well as engage the youth in the technological hub his government would set up across the state.
The Obarisi of Urhobo land also to restore the glory of Warri by reactivating the Warri Port, improve the security architecture to revivify might life and transform the Osubi Airstrip to an international airport.
