THE Redeemer Men’s Fellowship (RMF) of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG), Shekinah Mega Parish, is set to host a Special Family Health Talk in Warri, Delta State.
The event, which is slated for 12 noon on Sunday, May 14, is contained in a flier made available by President of RMF, Bro Oze Chukwudi to Stonix News.
The programme will feature health discussions such as Heart Saver First Aid, Trauma Management, Medical Emergency Management, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the usage of Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
The programme is scheduled for 12 noon at the Church Auditorium, RCCG, Shekinah Mega Parish, Delta Province 2 headquarters, Chevron Clinic Road, Opp. DBS, Edjeba, Warri.
Health experts such as the Instructor-American Heart Association, Clement Ovili and Assistant Instructor, Robert Ikechukwu, are the resource persons at the event.
Bro. Chukwudi, who appreciated the Pastor in charge of the province (PICP), Pastor Ezekiel Olukahunsi, for his encouragement and supports for the programme, said participants would be trained on how to offer or handle emergency cases that could lead to sudden death in the absence of medical experts.
According to him, one of the benefits of the event is to help reduce the rate of avoidable sudden deaths through simple first aids in the society, urging a massive participation.
