THE Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Pastor Paul Enenche, says the tragedy that hit a branch of his ministry in Makurdi with the collapsed church building would have been worse.
He made the remark during his visit to the scene of the collapsed Mission Ward branch of Dunamis Church in Makurdi on Tuesday while offering praise to God.

Stonix News had reported that the church building collapsed at the wee hours of Tuesday morning (at about 1am) during a vigil by five pastors of the church.
The collapse, however, claimed the life of the Resident Pastor of the branch, Emmanuel Ahmed while four others escaped unhurt.
Pastor Paul, who was accompanied to the scene by his wife, Becky, was conducted round the vicinity by pastors of the church.
Addressing the gathering of members and sympathisers after he was briefed, the charismatic cleric averred that the situation would been worse, but God averted a major tragedy that would have befallen His people.

He described the branch pastor, as a committed and dedicated servant of God, adding “it is in the character of Pastor Paul to commiserate with the family of the departed among other actions to encourage them whenever such is experienced in Dunamis.”
The man of God also appreciated God that the incident did not occur during “the seven hour Liberty Service that held on Independence Day of Sunday, October 1.
“So we thank God that it did not happen when the Church was filled to overflow.
“But I can assure you that affliction will not rise again,” he declared.
While urging the people to be strong in Christ and not be despair, Enenche said the church usually applies due diligence when erecting its structures.
