SAN ANTONIO Police, on Wednesday night, said they have arrested a father and son in the deaths of pregnant teenager Savannah Soto and her boyfriend after their bodies were found in a car in an apartment complex parking lot.
Police spokesperson, Sgt. Washington Moscoso, revealed the identity of the suspects as Christopher Preciado, 19, and his 53-year-old father Ramon Preciado.

The sergeant further revealed that the son will be charged with capital murder and the father abuse of a corpse.

Ramon Preciado, 53.
According to reports, Soto and her boyfriend, Matthew Guerra, both with gunshot wounds, were found dead days after the mom-to-be was scheduled to be induced.
Soto’s cellphone was collected at the scene, which stood as a critical piece of information for officers.

Moscoso said detectives were able to use her phone to find a possible location of the suspect’s vehicle from surveillance video, which police previously released when issuing a call for the public’s help.
Police then found the vehicle and the house the vehicle was connected to.
When officers got to the house, according to Moscoso, they met both suspects and after interview, there was enough information for the officers to get a search warrant, which led to the charges on Wednesday night.
It was also revealed that the father was not there for the murders but was called afterward.
Further charges against the suspects may likely be added.
