One Killed In Los Angeles Bus Hijacking

ONE person was killed after a Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus, with the driver and passengers reportedly being held inside, was hijacked early Wednesday.

Stonix News learnt that the driver was being forced to drive at gunpoint before police were able to apprehend the suspect.

The incident, according to reports, began at approximately 12:45 a.m., when the LAPD received radio calls to a disturbance on a bus.

When the LAPD tried to make contact, the bus started to pull away from the responding officers, which led to an hourlong pursuit into the downtown area.

The victim sustained gunshot wounds and was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

As of the time of filing this report, the suspect was in custody.
