THE Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, on Friday arrived at the Port Harcourt International Airport to a warm reception by government officials, political associates, and supporters.

The Governor’s return to the state, after official engagements outside Rivers, reaffirmed his commitment to continuous service and development for the people.
“Let me first of all appreciate the wonderful people of Rivers State. I’m really humbled by what I saw at the airport.
“I was also briefed with some photographs of what happened here yesterday. That reception really humbled me,” he said.

Sir Siminalayi Fubara expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, assuring Rivers people of his unwavering dedication to peace, progress, and good governance.
“I know everyone wants to hear something from me.
“In fact, you expected it when I landed at the airport,” he stated, while appreciating the large turnout of residents who came to welcome and celebrate his return.
