CHIEFTAIN of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi, is conspicuously absent as the list of members of APC Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2023 general elections hit the airwaves.
The former governor of Rivers State, it will be recalled, came second behind Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the June president primary of the party which held at the Eagles Square, Abuja.
Prior to the election, while the likes of Ibikunle Amosun, Godswill Akpabio, Dimeji Bankole, among others withdrew for Tinubu, Amaechi did not kowtow the bandwagon, sticking to his guns and earning some appreciable votes from a heavily, money-influenced delegates.
However, the likes of Godswill Akpabio, Adams Oshiomhole, David Umahi, Ben Ayade, Atiku Bagudu and Hadiza Bala Usman, among others, made the 19-member list released on Friday.
