DAUGHTER of late Princess Denise Yetunde Adurokiya, Sharon DideOluwa, has penned a heart-wrenching tribute to her mom, describing her passage as “a stab in my heart.”
In the emotion-laden tribute, the pupil of the Nigerian Navy Secondary School (NNSS), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, expressed grief over her inability to behold her late mom before her passage on November 26, 2024 in Ibadan.
She, however, yielded to the will of God, saying her mother had gone to take a deserved rest from the pains and anguish of life.
Stonix News reports that Princess Denise Yetunde Adurokiya, an ordained Assistant Pastor in charge of RCCG, House of Favour Area, Oyo Province 18, passed on Tuesday November 26, 2024, in Ibadan.
Read her tribute:
“Dear Mummy, I really miss you. Your death was like a knife stabbed into my heart. What pains me most is that I couldn’t see you before you went to be with the Lord.
“I remember you will sit me down on the bed, advise me like mother and daughter. At times, when you cry in bed, I will just tell you “all will be well.”
“You always say you wanted to take care of me and give me the best education; at the same time, you will say “DideOluwa allow me to go and rest.”
“But now, the Will of God is final. I can’t question God that is why He is called the unquestionable God.
“Sometimes I will just pray to God to wake me from this dream! But God has the final say.
“I also thank God you are free from pains and agony, and you have gone to be with the Lord. Mummy, you will forever remain alive in my heart.
“Goodnight, Mummy. We shall see on the Resurrection Morning. Rest in peace. I love you.”
