Again, Ndidi Set To Miss Clash Against Algeria, Returns To England, See Why

Michael Chukwuebuka, Reporting

REPORTS from the camp of Nigeria’s Super Eagles in Algeria have it that Leicester City and former Genk player, Wilfred Ndidi, has been ruled out of their clash against the Desert Foxes of Algeria, scheduled for Tuesday, 27th of September, 2022.

Ndidi, a defensive midfielder, who has, within the past few months, spent more time at the hospital, rather than the football pitch due to constant injuries, was one of the players who arrived early at the camp for his international duties.

The midfielder sustained the injury while training with his teammates early this morning and has returned to England for proper treatment.

Official statement from the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), goes thus;

“Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is injured and out of the game against Algeria. He has left the team’s camp and returned to England. Get well soon Wilfred”
