Aniagwu Is Back As Delta Commissioner For Information 


IN a sudden twist of events, the Governor of Delta State, Rt.Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has added the Ministry of Information to the portfolio of Commissioner for Works (Rural and Riverine Roads), Mr Charles Aniagwu. 

This followed a slight adjustment in the portfolios of two members of the State Executive Council by the governor.

Mr. Charles Ehiedu Aniagwu, formerly Commissioner for Works (Rural and Riverine roads), was reassigned Commissioner for Works (Rural roads) and Public Information

While Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, formerly Commissioner for Information, whose performance was tested and seen not to be comely, was designated as Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House).

According to a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr Kingsley Eze Emu, the re-alignment of portfolios is critical and necessary in furtherance of the implementation of the MORE Agenda of the administration and it takes immediate effect.

Mr Aniagwu, a former staff of Africa Independent Television (AIT), before he was fished out by former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, was the latter’s Chief Press Secretary (CPS) and Commissioner for Information in his second term.
